Casa
Maranto is located just few steps away
from the main square Piazza Tasso and
from railway; it's a complex divided
into three units (M1, M2 and M3), which
can be rented to large parties; composed
of one apartment and two studios located
on 2° floor of building (with lift) and
it's completely restructurated. The
apartment (M1) is composed of two double
bedrooms, one bathroom with shower,
living room with double sofa bed, a
kitchen corner and little terrace. The
studios (M2 and M3) are composed of one
double bedroom with kitchen corner and
one bathroom with shower. Casa Maranto
has air conditioning, central heating,
TV, Hi-Fi Stereo and car parking (on
request). The structure is located close
by all the facilities, 550 mt from the
main square, 800 mt from the Sorrento
harbour and 350 mt from railway. Ideally
for group of friends and families.

My cousin and I are
stayed at Casa Maranto (M1). We had the large
apartment which had a large sitting/dining/kitchen
area, 2 large bedrooms and a large bathroom. The
bedrooms and living area all had doors opening
on to the terrace. We found Casa Maranto has a
great location within walking distance from the
center and of transportation for Sita Bus to the
other cities along coast and train to Pompeii or
Naples. The room was spacious and cozy great
size one of the best rooms on our trip.
I look forward to staying there again :-)

Sorrento:
has always been one of the
greateast attractions in Southern Italy. The
structure of the old centre of Sorrento and some
archaeological remains make us think it was a
Greek city or at least it was heavily influenced
by the Greeks.
Marina Piccola that is an important shunting
station: more than the third part of all
international tourists travelling in the Gulf of
Naples pass on this harbour. Sorrento has been
able to propose itself as the center of a larger
touristic area, giving hospitality also to those
want to visit the near localities of Capri,
Pompeii, Herculaeum, Positano and Amalfi Coast
with daily excursions or by hydrofoil, bus or
train. Near the harbour of Marina Piccola there
are the bathing establishments of Sorrento;
Piazza Tasso (Main Square) with famous
Restaurants, Bar, Pub, Shops, is the unavoidable
crossroads to reach every place in Sorrento and
the characteristic sorrentine little lanes,
which represent the heart of the shopping center
and of the old town; Marina Grande (Large
Marina), which was the only seafaring village in
Sorrento until the 15th century; The Cloister of
San Francesco next to the pubblic garden and the
Correale Museum.
